Have you ever been told meds were your only option?
Story Time: After my diagnosis with MS, I asked my neurologist what lifestyle changes I could make that would help me. His response was, "Although I think you should eat healthy and exercise, none of this will help you heal. The only thing that will prevent you from getting worse is medications."
4.5 years later, I still have not taken any medications, my symptoms are GREATLY improved and I am not longer having monthly flare ups. As a matter of fact, since changing lifestyle 4.5 years ago I have only had one flare and it was managed quicly by returning to a healthy lifestyle.
If lifestyle changes could help prevent you from taking medications, would it be worth it?
