Our Midwives Beth and Stacie are leaving on a medical mission to a remote village in Mairowa, Tanzania Africa in one week. We are having a bar of soap drive this week to bring essential hygiene to the tribal midwives. If you would like to support the mission please bring a bar of soap to either clinic by Friday. Adorable baby alert! 😍 Meet Sofia Grace. She was born on December 5th and weighed 9lb 1 oz. As you can see big sister, Anna Victoria, is over the moon with her new baby sister! 🥰 Congratulations to Ruby and Jonathan on the new addition to your beautiful family! 🎊 Thank you for entrusting Valley Women Midwives to care for you during your pregnancies!

On 2/2/24 this sweet couple welcomed their baby girl Juliet! Megan was talking and moving in between contractions until her bag of water broke and the contractions were nearly on top of each other. Then her breathing changed and she learned her new she had more power then she ever knew she was cabal be of! The moment she realized it was time to push, Megan relaxed and knew she could push her baby out! Moments later, baby Juliet was placed skin to skin in her moms arms. Megan later said “my favorite part of unmedicated was feeling her come out!”

Salem Leanne (8lbs 1oz) joined her family on 10/11/23 at 10:39pm, exactly 10 years and 12 hours from her big sister who was born 10/11/13 at 10:39am 💕

“Mai-Lin helped my husband catch our daughter which was so sweet since it’s our last baby! She helped me push to my unmedicated birth that I was dreaming of for my last baby. Mai-Lin was the absolute best, and I’m so so grateful she was there for it all 🤍🤍” .

On February 16th Jessica came in calmly breathing and using the hypnobirthing technique she practiced. After a quick walk while waiting for a room, her bag of water broke and she quickly felt a change towards transition. She walked to her room and had a little bit of time in the tub before her body started pushing. She then stood by the tub,rocked her hips and breathed her baby out and into her arms. Sweet baby Beau was 8 pounds 10 ounces! #

On 2/16 this sweet family became a family of four. Colter made a speedy entrance into this world and just before it was time to push his mother paused and was grateful for the moments she would soon have skin to skin and as a family. Her first birth was during COVID and she was separated from her husband and her baby. This time she had the support of her loving husband and sister as she brought baby Colter into her arms. This was the healing birth that her heart dreamed of and she had the empowering birth she wanted on her terms!

Victoria and Tim welcomed Sebastian on November 4th. He made a quick entrance to the world with the love and support of his parents, doula Erica, labor nurse Lynn, and Emily the midwife. Pretty soon after entering her labor room, Victoria’s bag of water broke, she went to all fours and pushed her sweet boy out. “It was the labor team of my dreams!”
