Colles’ Fracture: When the Wrist Breaks After a Fall 💥🤚
A Colles’ fracture is a break in the distal radius (the bone on the thumb side of your forearm), commonly caused by falling onto an outstretched hand. It often results in pain, swelling, and limited wrist function.
Common symptoms:
🔹 Pain and tenderness at the wrist, especially after a fall
🔹 Swelling, bruising, or visible deformity around the wrist
🔹 Difficulty moving the wrist or hand
