A University of Utah School of Medicine graduate, she is certified by the American Board of Family Practice. Dr. Peterson also administers cosmetic injections and is the owner of Prescribed Health & Beauty.

Introducing 🥁🎉 our newest nurse injector, Shelley Goodman! We are so happy to be adding another nurse along side Emily who will specialize in injections with lots of experience.

Shelley Goodman graduated nursing school in 2004. She spent the first 13 years of her career as a Labor and Delivery Nurse at Banner Mesa and Banner Gateway Hospitals. The favorite part about her job was patient care and the bond she formed with families during such a special occasion. She now loves to create a similar bond with her aesthetic patients as they work together to develop and create their natural aesthetic results. She has a passion for helping others find more confidence and beauty in their own skin. Shelley grew up in the small town of Benson, AZ where she met her husband. They have 3 beautiful girls who keep them busy. Shelley loves spending time with her family on the lake, camping, or vacationing on the beach.

We post a lot about the spa side of our office but did you know Dr. Peterson focuses most of her day on family practice? She offers a variety of treatments including: Pap smears, Well child checks, Sports physical, Pre-op clearance, Chronic disease management, Yearly physicals, Medicine management and Medicare annual physicals.

Our staff helps keep the flow of Dr. Peterson’s day running smoothly. She is always in and out of rooms and taking as much time as needed with each patient’s appointment. She loves to see every age group.

If mom brings kids in for a pediatric appointment, she can also get Botox or a facial in the same day. This is what Dr. Peterson dreamed of when she opened up her own practice!

If you need someone to support you, she is your girl. She’ll keep you motivated and will remember to ask about topics from last visit including trips or family and friends. She helps Dr. Peterson with her patients and draws blood like a pro. We are so lucky to have her work with us.

Dr. Peterson was speaking with a patient the other day and they said their spouse was upset that the Botox/filler bill was as much as a car payment. Dr. Peterson mentioned to this patient that not everyone sees the car but everyone sees their face. You should feel confident in your own skin around others.

Your skincare routine at home is going to give you 70-80% of your results you want! If you go home and are using products that don’t have a lot of active ingredients or are not for your skin type. You will definitely not see the improvements in your skin you want.

When you take the time to visit an esthetician regularly, trust in us and our recommendations. Think of if like the dentist. You go in every 6 months for a cleaning but you wouldn’t leave your house not brush your teeth everyday, right? The exact same idea!
