Teams faced wild scenarios, from airplane emergencies to mountainside rescues and hyperthermia. This intense training hones vital teamwork and communication skills necessary for treating real-world emergencies. Big shoutout to this year's winning team and congrats to all involved! 🥇

From 468 lbs. to a 10K runner, this young man credits a Dignity Health surgeon with completely changing his life.

Samuel Martinez, 29, of Maricopa is sharing his dramatic transformation story in an effort to encourage others to take the first step of their weight loss journey toward living a longer and healthier life.

After a dramatic 130-pound weight loss accomplishment, Samuel continued to struggle with sleep apnea, hypertension and pre-diabetes. Then he turned to Dignity Health’s Bariatric Surgery and Weight Loss Program, and Shawn Stevenson, DO, chief of bariatric and foregut surgery, who performed a duodenal switch procedure at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.

Before kickoff, we were honored to recognize and celebrate cancer patients and survivors from across the Valley on the field — a powerful reminder of strength, resilience, and hope. Outside the stadium, our team also provided free prostate cancer screenings on the flight deck, helping fans take proactive steps toward their health and well-being.

It was a day filled with purpose, connection, and community, showing that every effort makes a difference in the fight against cancer. Together, we are tackling cancer. 💪
