The power of perspective…

It’s a journey, and trust me it’s a process. It’s anatomy, which often times can be unpredictable.

It’s also absolutely WORTH IT!

Hear me when I tell you…it IS possible to be proactive in the progression of the aging process without every compromising you and your natural beauty. In fact, when done correctly these treatments are meant to enhance natural beauty.

There are a few key factors required in order to achieve very elegant, tasteful, safe, and beautiful results.

In my professional and personal experience the first and most important is Trust:
-Trust in your injector and their skill set. Not only that they do great work, but that they also are confident and competent in managing any potential complications. Anatomy is finicky…it deserves a level of respect that only a seasoned injector would understand. Trust is essential!

-Consistency: Consistency between you and your injector. Working together, always with the same goal in mind. Committed to each other to do whatever it take as often as required to obtain said goal. While always approaching treatments in the most conservative, yet significant way.

-Realistic Expectations: I have very honest conversations with my patients, even when it’s not easy. I have had many discussions where I humbly suggest they are more of a surgical candidate and that these treatments would not be the best use of their money. The honesty and awareness of what I know I could make an improvement on is crucial. I have learned over the years that realistic expectations are healthy for both me as a nurse, and my patients who trust me to help.

I understand the fear that has developed around aesthetic procedures, and I’m very empathetic to it.

BUT…what if together we were able to eliminate fear and judgement and instead celebrate confidence and self-love?

It’s simple…it’s you…with a desire to look and feel your best. If it’s 20 units of Botox that gets your there…DO IT! A little lip plump that makes you smile with confidence, BOOK THE APPOINTMENT.

To be honest…self-care has taken on a whole new meaning for me.

In fact, I had to get so intentional and relentless in self-care this past year. Even went dark here on my social media (this for me was a form of self-care).

I had to make the decision to be completely honest and immersed in the care that I needed to be able to show up at my best for me, and everyone around me.
What if you gave yourself permission to do the same?!

I have always felt the importance of self-care, rest, reset, recharge. This last year taught me so much about the different ways self-care can be possible. Also, the impact it has on me when it’s not upheld. I have never been more of an advocate for all things self love and care than I am now. I’ve lived both sides of being really good at self-care and then being so busy that I neglected it.

I can’t wait to share my journey and perspective with you all!

Until then…be EXTRA good to yourself today…and every day!

You, destroy the idea that you have to be constantly working or relentlessly grinding to be successful. It’s simply not sustainable, you lose yourself in the hustle.

Instead, embrace the concept that rest, recovery, and reflection are essential parts in creating a happy, successful life.

You can’t pour from an empty cup, baby girl.
