Elite Care EMS is seeking candidates for employment as Driver, EMT-B, and Paramedic. Rates of pay align with level of training and experience with Shift Differential pay and call- out bonuses. Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Upon hire candidates will be expected to, if applicable:
-Perform assessment and treatment consistent with the WV Protocol.
-Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment utilized for pre-hospital assessment and care.
-Operate vehicles in accordance with state law.
-Complete medical and billing documentation accurately and comprehensibly to ensure completion of the record of patient care and, when present, provides evidence of medical necessity for purposes of billing while managing and protecting privileged, protected health information in accordance with state and federal laws.
-Prepare and complete other reports and documents as necessary (e.g. controlled substance accountability logs, pre-shift check lists, etc.).
-Maintain all credentials required by WVOEMS, NREMT, and company policy.
-Testify in court and give depositions, as needed.
-Provide clinical oversight and evaluations for students and trainees.
-Interact with patients, coworkers, peers, other health care providers, and the public in a professional and considerate manner.
-Attend work on a regular and consistent basis in accordance with company policy.
-Respond to all emergency situations as directed.
-Adhere to all Federal, State, County and Local ordinances.
-Be assigned to locations throughout Mingo County based upon operational needs.

Candidates must be:
-Able to communicate effectively and tactfully, both written and orally.
-Able to understand written and verbal orders and implement appropriately.
-Skilled in the operation of vehicles in accordance with state law and prevailing standards.
-Skilled in defensive driving and be willing to complete an emergency vehicle course as required by policy.
-Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
-Able to work under stressful situations.
-Able to commute to work as needed
-Able to lift heavy loads and withstand prolonged sitting, standing, balancing, bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, carrying, pushing, pulling, grasping, kneeling, reaching, walking, walking on uneven ground.
-Able to tolerate prolonged periods in indoor and outdoor environments including, but not limited to, excessive cold, excessive heat, inclement weather, humidity, rain, wind, vibration, noise, water exposure, fumes/odors, physical hazards, and potential for exposure to blood/bodily secretions and pathogens.
