The eyes are the second most complex organ in the body, so there’s no surprise that they’re fused with loads of brain power! Over 50% of the surface of our brains is dedicated to processing visual stimuli. When we open our eyes, our vision accounts for ⅔ of the electrical activity of the brain, that is 2 billion out of 3 billion firings per second!
