A closer look at how Vbeam works 👇

Performed by Dr. Brandy Mills, Vbeam (also known as Pulsed Dye Laser, or PDL) uses targeted laser energy to selectively treat visible blood vessels without damaging the surrounding skin. ⚡️

In the before photo, you can see small red vessels on the chin. Immediately after treatment, there is expected redness, but those vessels have already been successfully targeted and are no longer visible.

Post-treatment redness is temporary and will continue to improve, revealing a more even, balanced complexion. 🤩

Getting a mole removed for a biopsy is quick and easy! 👌

In this case, Dr. Rampton performed a shave biopsy on a patient that came in with concerns about a mole that was changing, becoming slightly raised and itchy. When a mole begins to change, a biopsy is a simple way to evaluate the skin more closely and provide clarity. Performed in-office in just a few minutes, the sample is then sent to the lab for a detailed analysis. 🔬

We’re so excited to introduce Jordyn Saiz, CLT🤍✨

Jordyn is an Arizona native who grew up in Tucson and later moved to the East Valley, where she attended Williams Field High School in Gilbert. During high school, she also completed the Medical Assisting program at the East Valley Institute of Technology, earning her Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) training.

Jordyn began her career at Desert Sky Dermatology as a medical assistant, where she spent two years building a strong foundation in patient care and dermatologic treatments. She has since advanced her career by becoming a Certified Laser Technician (CLT) and is excited to continue growing in the field of aesthetic dermatology.

She is passionate about helping patients feel confident in their skin and strives to create a comfortable, positive experience for every patient she treats.

Outside of work, Jordyn enjoys spending time with her family and her two cats, Archer and Willow. In her free time, you can often find her shopping or attending concerts with friends.

Lichen planus can show up in more places than you might expect 👀

🔎 This inflammatory condition can affect the skin and mucous membranes (like the inside of the mouth shown here) It may appear as:

• Purple, itchy bumps on the skin
• Lacy white patches or sores inside the mouth
• Discomfort, sensitivity, or irritation

It’s not contagious but it can be persistent, uncomfortable, and easy to overlook without a proper diagnosis. If something on your skin doesn’t look or feel right, don’t ignore it. These subtle signs can tell us a lot.
