Did you know that 1 in 4 adults (7.2 million Americans) living with diabetes are unaware that they have the disease? Another 84 million Americans have prediabetes, and 9 out of 10 do not know they have it.

American Diabetes Association Alert Day is a one-day “wake-up call” to inform the public about the seriousness of diabetes. The ADA encourages everyone to research your family’s medical history and to take the diabetes risk test.
