Lighthouse Psychiatry We offer personalized brain care, mental health care, and trauma care

In addition to providing mental and behavioral health care at our facility, we are a big proponent of mental health education and resource to fight against the stigma of mental illness. We accomplish this through our community partnership with local nonprofits, agencies, hospitals, and government.

Starting therapy for the first time can feel overwhelming.
The unknown, the worries, the “what ifs”… it’s all real.

But it doesn’t have to be scary.

Sometimes, it’s just a calm conversation, taken one step at a time.
No pressure. No judgment. Just a safe space to ease into.

At the end of the day, it’s not about your job, your car, or your house.
You can have all the money in the world, but without your family, it means nothing.
Family is everything. ❤️

A young patient with ADHD walked in one day with the biggest smile, gave me a hug, and said, “Thank you… I’m happier and doing better in school.”

Behind that smile was a journey—supportive parents, therapy, and the right treatment working together.

Sometimes, the smallest moments remind us how life-changing the right care can be.

The inspiration to work in mental health often starts with personal experience. Having received support growing up, the goal now is to give that back, guiding families, helping kids express themselves, and supporting adults through life’s challenges. It’s more than a career, it’s a passion rooted in purpose.

For Rochelle, success in couples therapy isn’t just about “fixing” everything, it’s about the small, meaningful shifts. Going from distance and tension to sitting close, smiling, laughing, and reconnecting again… those moments are the real wins. That’s what healing in relationships looks like.

One of the most meaningful parts of therapy is helping people uncover the strengths they didn’t know they had. Those hidden pieces, resilience, courage, inner resources, are often already there, just waiting to be rediscovered. Healing begins by bringing those strengths back into focus.

If you’re afraid to start therapy, that fear makes sense. Opening up to a stranger, especially after past hurt can feel risky. But staying in what’s familiar can keep you stuck in the same patterns.

If you’re tired of going in circles, it might be time to take that step, even if it’s scary. Growth begins outside your comfort zone, and on the other side of fear is freedom. You don’t have to do it alone.
