Join us on Sunday for this exciting, no admission mini-concert performed by the Gillette Chamber Singers!

We’re performing a shortened version of our Spring concert on Sunday, April 19 2 pm, at the Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center in Gillette. It’s a chance for us to sing for the residents, family members and friends in an informal setting at 1000 South Douglas Hwy. There is no admission for this mini-concert. Hope to see you there!

We wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to Rockpile Museum for making a recent outing incredibly special for our Legacy residents.

What began as a simple visit quickly turned into something much more meaningful. From the moment we connected with Penny and the wonderful team at the museum to the warm welcome our residents received, it was clear that kindness and community are at the center of everything they do.

Our residents had a wonderful time exploring, reminiscing, and sharing in an experience that brought smiles, conversation, and connection. It’s moments like these that truly enrich their lives and create lasting memories.

Because of their generosity and thoughtfulness, opportunities like this will continue, making it possible for our residents to return, visit, and enjoy these experiences throughout the year.

We are grateful for the care and compassion shown by Penny and the entire museum staff. Their kindness made a meaningful impact on our residents and our team.

At The Legacy, we are proud to offer the Crdl (Cradle) interactive instrument in our Cottonwood Neighborhood to support residents living with dementia.

The Crdl creates shared experiences through touch and sound. When two people place their hands on the instrument at the same time, it responds with gentle tones and music. This simple interaction encourages connection, movement, and engagement in a way that feels natural and calming.

In a dementia focused environment like our Cottonwood neighborhood, meaningful moments of connection are especially important. Residents may experience changes in memory and communication, which can make traditional conversation more difficult. The Crdl provides an alternative way to connect through sensory experience, helping reduce isolation and create purposeful interaction.
