I am truly honored to be nominated among so many dedicated professionals 😊
A trailblazer in her field and a deeply committed community advocate, Audra Stumbaugh is redefining what it means to care for others—one breath, one smile, and one life at a time.
With 38 years of experience in dentistry, Audra’s career has been built on a foundation of expertise and compassion. In 2018, she took a bold and visionary step by founding WyoMyo, her own private practice dedicated to Orofacial Myology—a growing field focused on correcting muscle dysfunctions in the mouth and face. These often-overlooked conditions can significantly impact breathing, chewing, swallowing, jaw function, and even sleep and digestion. Audra's work doesn't just treat symptoms—it transforms lives.
As a Certified Orofacial Myologist, Audra is deeply committed to education and collaboration. She regularly hosts training sessions for healthcare providers and recently presented at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Trainers Association conference, promoting interdisciplinary care and elevating awareness of how oral health connects to overall wellness.
Beyond her practice, Audra is a passionate community servant. She’s served as Public Relations Chair for the Gillette Edge Soccer Club, where she used her voice and skills to promote youth athletics and build stronger community ties. As a Wyoming district representative for OUR RESCUE, she lends her advocacy to a cause close to her heart—helping fight human trafficking and support rescue and recovery missions.
Audra’s leadership extends to the professional level as well. She sits on the Board of Directors for the International Association for Orofacial Myology and serves as an ambassador for The Breathe Institute, advancing public understanding of airway health. She's also a proud member of the American Dental Hygiene Association, the Wyoming Dental Hygiene Association, and the International Association of Airway Hygienists—organizations that support her continual growth and her mission to educate, innovate, and serve.
Driven by a deep love for her family and a passion for improving quality of life, Audra’s work is a powerful blend of science, advocacy, and heart. Whether in the clinic or out in the community, she leads with vision, care, and unwavering dedication.
Please join us in celebrating Audra and other incredible health champions at the Black Cat’s Golden Gala on Saturday, September 20.
