Last weekend, we had the honor of celebrating Dr. Hartsaw’s retirement from the United States Navy Reserve after 13 years of service, where she achieved the rank of Captain.
Alongside leading a successful surgical practice, raising 5 children, becoming a grandmother, and caring for patients in our community, Dr. Hartsaw also dedicated over a decade to serving our country, including a deployment to Afghanistan. She also served on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic in New York City at the Javits Center field hospital, which became one of the largest hospitals in the city during the pandemic.
We are incredibly proud of her service, leadership, and commitment both in and out of uniform. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Hartsaw on this remarkable military accomplishment and thanking her for 13 years of service. 🇺🇸
(and to clarify, she is NOT retiring from medicine or from High Plains Surgical)
