In 2013, Dr. Hartsaw took her commitment to care to a new level by joining the United States Navy Reserve. Today, she proudly holds the rank of Commander.

Her service has taken her far beyond Wyoming, including a deployment to Afghanistan where she provided expert surgical care and leadership in some of the most challenging conditions.

Dr. Hartsaw’s courage, skill, and dedication exemplify what it means to serve selflessly, both at home and abroad.
