As the founder of Davis Ear, Nose and Throat Specialists in Gillette, Dr. Thomas C. Davis has spent nearly two decades improving lives across northeast Wyoming, providing skilled, compassionate care to patients of all ages.
A Wyoming native and Cheyenne East High School graduate, Dr. Davis’s journey to medicine began with a call to serve. He entered the U.S. Army as a Private in the 82nd Airborne Division and eventually rose to the rank of Major as a Head and Neck Surgeon. During his nine years in Army medicine, he performed complex reconstructive surgeries for soldiers returning from war between 9/11 and when he left the Army in 2008, offering healing and hope to those who had given so much.
Dr. Davis’s leadership style is marked by humility, discipline, and respect — qualities he honed in the military and brought home to Wyoming. His guiding philosophy is to “lead by example” and “treat others the same way I would like to be treated.” In both his medical practice and broader community involvement, he inspires a culture of excellence and kindness.
Beyond his clinical practice and on-call service in the emergency department, Dr. Davis has committed himself to lifelong learning. He is uniquely triple-certified: Board Certified in Otolaryngology (ENT), Sleep Medicine, and a Fellow in Allergy through the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy — the only physician in Wyoming with this combination of expertise.
Join us in honoring Dr. Davis and other remarkable nominees at the 2025 Black Cat’s Golden Gala on Saturday, September 20.
