After enjoying Christmas festivities, I find solace in returning to our regular grocery routine and preparing healthy meals for the upcoming days.

I like incorporating foods that are nutrient-dense and can help restore balance. Things lean proteins like grilled chicken or fish, plenty of vegetables, and whole grains.

Hydration is key too, so drink lots of water, and include fruits that are high in water content. This can help you feel revitalized and get back on track, even if you had q few glasses of wine with Santa. 😉

To all the moms out there, remember that a day of indulgence doesn't define the next meal's healthiness.

I had my transformative moment about 18 months after giving birth to twins when I looked at a photo of myself and hardly recognized the person staring back.

This realization ignited a desire to change both my physical appearance and energy levels, inspiring the creation of Trainerz Fitness.

Recognizing the challenges of motherhood, I saw self-care as crucial for being a better wife and mother. My fitness journey, initially driven by physical changes, turned into a therapeutic outlet for my body and soul.

It's the moment I understood that, from an external viewpoint, things might appear positive, yet deep down, it may not be the same for other mothers. This realization is why I've dedicated myself to fitness, and I encourage you to do the same in the upcoming year.

Are you on the hunt for protein-packed meals that take 5 mins or less to make?

Look no further than our Pumpkin Pie Overnight Oats - a 5-minute morning magic meal you’ll love.

These oats are here to rescue your hectic mornings with a dash of sweetness and a whole lot of convenience. Just blend a handful of ingredients, let them rest overnight, and wake up to a delicious breakfast.

Base Ingredients:
-½ cup rolled oats
-½ cup almond milk
-¼ cup Greek yogurt
-¼ cup pumpkin puree
-1 tablespoon chia seeds
-1 tablespoon maple syrup
-½ teaspoon vanilla extract
-½ teaspoon pumpkin spice

Toppings Ingredients:
-Yogurt
-Chopped pecans

Instructions:
In a sealable jar or bowl, add the rolled oats, almond milk, yogurt, pumpkin puree, chia seeds, maple syrup, vanilla, and pumpkin spice. Give it a stir until it's well combined.

Let it soak in the fridge for at least 2 hours, but it's best to soak overnight for 8 hours.

Top your pumpkin pie overnight oats with yogurt and chopped pecans, and enjoy!

Notes:
-Overnight oats will expand about 10-15%, so make sure to not fill the container up to the brim!
-If you want to omit the Greek yogurt, totally fine! It just won't be as creamy.
-If you make a large batch in a bowl, once it's set and thickened overnight scoop out about 1 1/2 cup for a single serving.
