Biography
Dr. John D Rawa D.C., M.S., was born and raised in Erie, PA. He’s a 1987 graduate of Erie Academy High School. He proceeded to attend the University of Pittsburgh where he graduated in 1991 with a Bachelors of Science degree while majoring in science and completing minor courses of study in both chemistry and economics.
He graduated from the New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls in 1996. After completing two associate-ships in the city of Pittsburgh from 1996 till 1999, Dr. Rawa returned to his hometown of Erie and opened his own office in the Erie suburbs in the community of Girard, PA (now 26+ years) where he has resided with his wife Dolores and raised their three children, Josh, Tiffany and AJ.
As of the July 2016 commencement proceedings of the New York Chiropractic College, Dr Rawa has been conferred a Masters Degree, with honors, for teaching Human Anatomy & Physiology to coincide with his previous DC degree which he also obtained from the New York Chiropractic College in April of 1996
Since coming to the Girard area, located at 4880 Birchdale Dr. Girard, PA. Dr. Rawa had been involved in the Girard-Lake City Chamber of Commerce as a board member as well as vice-president, and an annual participant in the Dan Rice Days Festival.
