At Transition Assisted Living, I wear many hats, each one centered on care, compassion, and connection. As Activities Director, I create moments of joy, purpose, and engagement for our residents. As Kitchen Manager, I help provide meals that bring comfort and a sense of home. Through maintenance support, I help ensure a safe, welcoming environment, and as Spa Coordinator, I focus on dignity, relaxation, and helping residents feel their best. Behind the scenes, I manage inventory to keep daily operations running smoothly, and as Social Media Director, I share our story and highlight the heart of what we do.

I truly love what I do, and every role I take on is guided by one goal: to make each resident feel valued, supported, and at home.

We incorporate high-water foods into our daily menus in simple, comforting ways that our residents enjoy:

🍉 Fresh fruit like watermelon, oranges, and strawberries are offered at breakfast and as easy-to-eat snacks🥒 Crisp options like cucumbers and celery are served alongside meals or as refreshing finger foods🥣 Warm, nourishing soups are a staple at lunch and dinner to support both hydration and comfort🥛 Yogurt and smoothies provide hydration while also supporting nutrition and digestion🍧 Fun options like popsicles and jelly drops are available for residents who may need extra encouragement to hydrate

By weaving these foods into familiar, enjoyable meals, we help support brain function, reduce the risk of dehydration-related complications, and promote overall well-being.

Meet Jenna, she is one of our fantastic RA’s & also helps with our Home Health Clients as well as our Independent Living!

I love working at transition assisted living, I have been a night Lead RA for almost 2 years, it will be 2 years in June. I love meeting all the residents that come through the doors. I love getting to care for them all, making memories with these amazing people really brings me joy. I love providing the care they need, I absolutely love working with each and every resident. Healthcare is definitely my calling in life.
