About Allergy & Asthma Specialists of Kansas City
Allergy & Asthma Specialists of Kansas City was founded by Dr. Charles Siegel in 1983, later joined by Dr. Lou Stekoll in 1996. The practice has provided care for literally thousands of patients of all ages residing not only in the North Kansas City area, but in Eastern Kansas, Western Missouri and Greater Kansas City as well. The office has always prided itself in a strong commitment to academic affiliation, the community with voluntary teaching to the health services staff of the local school districts, as well as community health awareness educational programs. Throughout the years patient care, education, clinical research and community activity has been the foundation of Allergy and Asthma Specialists of Kansas City.
Drs. Siegel and Stekoll retired in 2018 after Dr. Haroon Khalid, a graduate of University of Kansas Medical Center and a Board Certified Allergist & Immunologist joined the practice.
At Allergy & Asthma Specialists of Kansas City we are well aware of the toll that allergy, asthma, sinus diseases and primary immunodeficiency disorders can have on a patient's life. Not only do they affect quality of life but also have an impact on the productivity.
Our goal is to provide evidence based care to our patients and form a partnership with them. Together we can help you fell better, be able to enjoy outdoors, being around your pets and not have allergies and asthma hold you back from doing activities that you enjoy. We treat a broad spectrum of allergic and immunologic conditions and have a staff dedicated to providing excellent care.
