WIC is open and here to support your family during the ongoing government shutdown—the program has received additional emergency funding to continue services. Please continue using your food benefits, going in for services or participating in virtual services, and going to your clinic appointments! 🤱

For additional info—check with your local WIC clinic, your State or Indigenous WIC Agency’s website, or your WIC app.

If you are a military family affected by base clinic closures, you can visit any off-base WIC clinic near you for food benefits, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and referral services. 🫶

New SNAP update from Illinois Department of Human Services:

SNAP customers in Illinois will receive partial November benefits, beginning Nov. 7.
Those who are regularly scheduled to receive benefits Nov. 1 through Nov. 6 will receive partial benefits over the next six days, with:
- Nov. 1 benefits loading on Nov. 7
- Nov. 2 benefits loading on Nov. 8, etc.
Customers who ordinarily would receive their SNAP benefits on Nov. 7 or later will receive their partial benefits on their regular date.
**NOTE: For some customers, the federal administration's requirements will leave them with no benefit for November
