We’re excited to shine the spotlight on Amanda Drinkwine-Sickles, our incredible Scheduling Manager here at Cornerstone Caregiving!

Amanda began her journey in caregiving at just 18 years old, where she quickly discovered her passion for helping others. Along the way, she also spent years as a bartender, strengthening her natural love for customer service and taking care of people from all walks of life.

Her experience includes serving as a Resident Care Manager and stepping into administrative leadership roles, where her passion for coordinating and facilitating client care truly grew. Amanda is deeply committed to making families feel heard, supported, and reassured that they are not alone during the challenges of caring for a loved one. She also takes pride in ensuring clients feel safe and confident, knowing they can trust the person overseeing their care. She feels like keeping loved ones in the home is an important job and families should have to struggle to do that!

Outside of work, Amanda has been with her amazing husband for 15 years and married for 10. She’s a proud mom of two beautiful daughters and a dedicated sports mom who’s always cheering them on! Being a wife and mother is her whole heart!

When she’s not working, you can find her enjoying the outdoors—trail riding in her side-by-side, camping, or heading to mud bogs. She truly loves anything that gets her outside and adventuring.

✨ **Manager Highlight** ✨

✨Lynn Matulewicz✨

With over 20 years of experience in caregiving, our Lynn has dedicated her life to serving and supporting others. She began her career working as a Direct Care Worker (DCW) in group homes for individuals with developmental disabilities, where she developed a deep passion for helping people live with dignity and independence.

She later went on to run a women’s Adult Foster Care home in Jackson, Michigan, specializing in Alzheimer’s and dementia care, providing compassionate support to residents and their families during some of life’s most challenging moments.

After stepping away from caregiving for a few years, she worked as an Assistant Manager at Rite Aid, gaining valuable leadership and management experience before returning to the field she truly loves, caring for others.

Her passion for caregiving started long before her career. As a child, she helped care for her Papa, who affectionately called her "nurse". Later, she spent time caring for her great-grandmother, often “grandma sitting” so her grandmother could run errands. During those visits, she learned to play Rummy and discovered just how meaningful and precious time with loved ones truly is.

Even today, her family knows they can always count on her. As the oldest grandchild and oldest sibling she naturally steps in whenever her mom or grandma need support. For her family is everything.

Outside of work, she enjoys cheering on her favorite Michigan teams The Red Wings, Lions, Tigers, and Michigan State and occasionally relaxing with a good book when the mood strikes.

Her heart for caregiving, strong family values, and dedication to helping others make her an incredible leader and advocate for those we serve every day.
