Together, we can create brighter futures! Last week, our dedicated team rolled up their sleeves and gathered essential classroom supplies for Saginaw Public Schools. It’s heartwarming to see nearly two dozen members come together, ensuring our kids have the tools they need to thrive. Small acts of kindness can lead to big changes!

Thank you to William Passage/RN (pictured), and the Sunshine Committee at MyMichigan Health for collecting and donating classroom supplies to Saginaw Public Schools. Nearly two dozen members spent two weeks gathering items to make sure our kids have what they need to succeed. Your generosity will be felt in classrooms across the district.

Sandy Armstrong, 87, was living independently until a medical emergency left her unconscious with a broken arm. After being evaluated at MyMichigan Medical Center Mt. Pleasant, she was transferred to MyMichigan Medical Center Alma, where an MRI revealed she had a stroke. With family support and dedication to her recovery, Sandy engaged in therapy twice daily at the RehabCentre in Alma. Now, she’s thriving and sharing her journey to inspire others.

Today, we had the joy of giving back to the wonderful students at Carrollton Public Schools! Jessica, a dedicated physical therapist assistant from MyMichigan Spine and Rehabilitation, and her amazing team brought essential school supplies. It’s heartwarming to support our future leaders, one backpack at a time!

We would like to thank Jessica Willey and her Team from MyMichigan Health for their generous donation of school supplies to Carrollton High School and Carrollton Middle School! We know that all of the backpacks, pens, pencils, notebooks, and other goodies will be finding their way into the hands of some grateful Cavaliers come Monday Morning!

MyMichigan Health Foundation received a generous gift of $2,445 from Centre Lodge #273, Midland’s Masonic Lodge. The contribution will support the Diabetes Blood Glucose Strip Fund program, which, in the past year, assisted 58 individuals lacking insurance and financial resources to adequately manage their diabetes.

Congratulations, Anna Bradford! A student at Saginaw Valley State University and employee of MyMichigan Health, Anna has been selected as the first recipient of the Diane Postler-Slattery Nursing Endowed Scholarship. The $3,500 award is administered through the MyMichigan Health Foundation.
