Thursday, July 17, 2025: 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

🌡️ A Code Red Hot Weather Emergency is declared when the temperature or heat index is expected to be at or above 100°F for two hours or more.

⚠️ These conditions can be dangerous and even deadly. Residents are urged to take precautions to avoid heat-related stress and illness.

💧 Montgomery County is providing additional services for vulnerable populations, including those experiencing unsheltered homelessness and weather-sensitive older adults.

❄️ Cooling programs are open to all residents in need at more than 70 sites across the region.
