We’re thrilled to share some big news! Barren County Nursing & Rehabilitation has been named one of the Best of Kentucky in Nursing & Rehabilitation! Our Administrator, Sarah Rowe, proudly accepted the award at the KCARE banquet held yesterday evening.

This recognition is such a testament to the hard work, compassion, and dedication of our entire team. From our nursing staff to therapy, administrative, and support – everybody plays a role in making BCNR a place where residents feel cared for, safe, and truly at home.

Thank you to our residents, their families, and all of our staff for being part of this journey. We couldn’t do it without you.

Here’s to continuing the standard of excellence! 🏆

The Kentucky State Gospel Singing Convention inducted The Temple Trio into their Hall of Fame. They presented this certificate to our Very own Stanley Greer. He was a piano player for them and played piano at our facility for many years.
We are so proud of Stanley and his accomplishments.

Our Angel Tree is ready at BCNR for anyone who is interested in adopting one of our beloved residents. Our Angel Tree is located at our main entrance. If you wish to participate in our Angel Tree, please come by BCNR to choose an ornament from the tree. All ornaments are labeled with a number. There is a binder located near the tree to write your name and phone number next to the number on your ornament. Please ensure all gifts are wrapped and labeled with the number on the ornament. You may use the ornament as one of your gift tags. All presents must to be dropped off to our Activity Director Emmy Glass by Monday, December 15th. Our Residents just couldn’t wait for Thanksgiving so Nicole and Sandy BCNR’s unit managers TEAMED up and had a mini no bake session! They were absolutely delicious!
