Terri truly serves as the face of our facility, welcoming residents and families with compassion, professionalism, and genuine care. Through her dedication and community relationships, she has played a vital role in our continued success.

Terri brings creativity, energy, and heart to our building. From hosting engaging activities like SINGO, to organizing memorable events such as resident beauty pageants that received national recognition, she continually finds ways to enhance the quality of life for our residents while strengthening our connections throughout the community.

Her passion, leadership, and commitment make a lasting impact on our residents, families, staff, and the entire Barren County community.

Happy Employee Appreciation Day!

At Barren County Nursing and Rehabilitation, recognition is a part of our culture and something we truly value. Friday, was National Employee Recognition Day and our Administrator showed appreciation to our incredible team who worked on Friday by treating the staff throughout the building to their choice of Starbucks or Sonic.

It’s a small gesture to say thank you to the dedicated individuals who show up every day to care for our residents and support one another. Your compassion, teamwork, and commitment do not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for each of you who make Barren such a special place to work and live.

Emmy Glass, our incredible Activity Director, recently attended the KCARE Activity Training in Louisville, KY, where she had the opportunity to learn from nationally renowned long-term care speaker Cat Selman.

During the training, Emmy gained valuable insight into the latest best practices in activity programming and resident-centered care. She returned with new ideas, inspiration, and strategies that will help us continue enhancing the experiences and quality of life for our residents.

We are proud of Emmy’s commitment to professional growth and her dedication to bringing fresh, innovative programming to our community! 👏

Her approach to discharge planning is thoughtful and individualized, ensuring that each resident’s transition is carefully planned to support the best possible outcomes. Christy’s strong relationships with community partners and local resources allow her to coordinate services that truly meet the unique needs of those we serve.
