We are thrilled to celebrate Odessa Duggin, RN, as our most recent Daisy Award Winner. She began her TJ journey back in 2019 and works in the Urgent Care. Her dedication, compassion, and commitment to providing outstanding patient care has touched the lives of so many. Welcome, Baby New Year 2026!

The team members and medical staff at T.J. Samson Community Hospital are delighted to welcome the first baby of 2026. May Marifer Velasco Rendon was born at 4:29 a.m. on Thursday, January 1, weighing 7 pounds and 12 ounces and was delivered by Dr. Todd Bader. May is the daughter of Christina Rendon Rodriguez and Fernando Velasco Abraham of Cave City.

In addition to her parents, May is welcomed by big sister Cassandra, age 3, who was also born at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.

Congratulations to this sweet family on their newest addition. Join us in sending them many well wishes for 2026!
