Rowan University Office of Accessibility Services

Rowan University Office of Accessibility Services The Accessibility Services office strives to help students excel in academics, while meeting their individual needs.

Accessibility Services works with any student on campus to ensure they are properly accommodated both in and out of the classroom. The Office of Accessibility Services provides accommodations and assistance to students with various documented disabilities in accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. Students who meet University admissions requirements (i.e., otherwise qualified to attend the University) are required to submit appropriate documentation so that the University can determine whether they qualify for reasonable accommodations. We also are offering new programs for students registered with our office. Last summer we initiated a program for students during Welcome Week. College Compass is a program to help students "navigate new beginnings". Our goal is to offer support and guidance for students throughout the welcome week activities!
