We’re still reflecting on yesterday’s Arts in Health Conference — a celebration of healing arts, creativity, and community across South Jersey 🎨🎶💜

Thank you to our inspiring keynote speaker, artist panelists, volunteers, presenters, community organizations, and everyone who attended and participated throughout the day. We’re also grateful to the organizations who set up tables and shared more about the important work and resources they bring to our communities.

From meaningful conversations to creative connection, it was incredible to see so many people come together through the arts and wellness.

We’re so happy we could provide materials for the Rowan School of Osteopathic Medicine Student Pediatric Medical Association (SPMA) to create murals at the CARES (Child Abuse Research Education and Service Institute) at Rowan Medicine!🎨🩺💙

These incredible students created beautiful murals for each patient room so every child visiting CARES can experience the comfort, creativity, and joy that art can bring.

A huge shoutout to the SPMA team for creating a more welcoming and healing environment for children and families at CARES.

Excited to share this recent mural project completed in patient rooms at CARES by ROMA (Rowan Osteopathic Medicine & Arts) at CMSRU in collaboration with the George Family Center for Healing Arts. Each mural was created to bring more warmth, comfort, and personality into patient spaces, helping make the environment feel a little more welcoming for patients and families.

ROMA is a student organization focused on supporting patients, practitioners, and students through creativity, service, and community, and that really came through in this project. It’s always inspiring to see art being used in healthcare spaces in such a thoughtful and meaningful way. Huge thank you to all of the students and volunteers who helped bring these rooms to life. 🎨✨
