Ophthalmic assistants are responsible for pretesting and diagnostic testing such as:
-knowledge of common eye diseases and symptoms
-ocular emergency triage
-obtaining medical history
-measuring visual acuity
-contact tonometry
-manual refractometry
-visual fields
-OCTs
-A-scans

Candidates must be responsible, reliable and have excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to travel to all Richmond Eye Associates locations. Prior experience REQUIRED.
