Ride for Bike For The Brave

This past May would have marked our 6th Bike For The Brave ride to support the Adaptive Sports Program at McGuire Veterans Hospital but as you know, the ride was canceled due to the pandemic. Last week, with your help and generosity as well as the generosity of our many vendor partners we were able to present a check to McGuire Veterans Hospital for over $34,000! Since we began this ride in 2015 we have been able to raise and donate over $200,000 to the program. This would not have been possible without all of you and we thank you for your support!

We will miss you on the ride tomorrow but we hope you are all staying safe during these difficult times! Even though we canceled the ride, we will still be presenting McGuire Veterans Hospital with funds raised so watch for more details in the coming weeks!

It is with great sadness to share that we have made the decision to cancel Bike for the Brave for Saturday May 2nd. We thank you for your understanding, early participation, commitment and donations; however we don’t see a path forward to reschedule for this year. If you have already registered, please see the e-mail sent yesterday and please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns.

Last year with your help and support of this ride, we were able to donate over $50,000 to the Adaptive Sports Program at the McGuire Veterans Hospital. With these funds the program was able to purchase a trailer to transport the adaptive bikes, start an adaptive video gaming program, purchase competitive wheelchairs for wheelchair soccer, and secure a dedicated air rifle range and more! Thank you for supporting our deserving veterans!
