LifeSpire of Virginia operates five life plan communities unique continuing care retirement communities throughout scenic Virginia.

Each LifeSpire community provides a full continuum of care to address the changing health needs of seniors. Readily accessible assisted living, 24-hour nursing care, physical therapy and memory support services give residents and their loved ones peace of mind, knowing team members is always available to provide excellent services and care.

As we reflect on 2025, the Virginia Baptist Homes Foundation helped make stability, dignity, and peace of mind possible for residents facing unexpected financial challenges. The Benevolent Fund's support allowed eligible residents to remain in the homes and communities they love.

In addition, Foundation support benefited team member scholarships, provided assistance to team members experiencing personal crisis, and strengthened spiritual life programming across our communities. Together, these efforts reflect a shared commitment to caring for the whole person.

✨Foundation Friday Spotlight ✨

Over the past few weeks, our IT team went above and beyond to make a difference! They worked diligently to refurbish and prepare five laptops for donation to Cristo Rey Richmond High School, helping students have the tools they need to succeed.

But that’s not all! They also donated a 65-inch TV screen, bringing even more resources to the classroom. In total, these contributions are valued at around $6,000.

We’re proud to support education and empower future leaders in our community. 💙

This holiday season, team members from LifeSpire of Virginia volunteered at The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Distribution Center in Richmond, with 25 team members contributing more than 100 volunteer hours in support of families across central Virginia! Through the The Salvation Army Central Virginia's Christmas Assistance Program, nearly 3,000 families and 5,000 children receive gifts and experience the joy of the season each year.

We are grateful for the opportunity to partner in this meaningful work and to live out our shared commitment to service and community impact!

As we at LifeSpire of Virginia celebrate 80 years of empowering purposeful living for older adults, we recognize that none of the freedoms we enjoy, nor the services we provide, would be possible without the sacrifices of the Americans who have served, fought for, and protected our country.

This Veterans Day, we honor the brave individuals who have given so much in service to our nation. To our residents who served and to all who continue to defend our liberty, we extend our deepest gratitude.

Last Friday, residents at The Glebe came together for their annual Bazaar to support the Benevolent Fund, and what a day it was! From delicious homemade cookies, brownies, and jams to beautiful handcrafted hats, scarves, and festive Christmas ornaments, there was something for everyone.

The silent auction was a highlight, featuring incredible donated items like stunning paintings and hand-carved wooden creations such as toys, cutting boards, and even pens!

Thanks to the hard work and generosity of our residents, volunteers, and supporters, over $5,300 was raised for the Benevolent Fund!

Our benevolent mission provides financial subsidies to eligible residents who, through no fault of their own, have outlived their financial resources.
