This week, we had the privilege of celebrating someone truly exceptional — Jennifer Hauser, NP, the owner and provider behind RVA Healthcare.

Jennifer’s journey began with home visits from the back of her vehicle, grew into a small office, and has now brought us to the milestone of celebrating one full year in our beautiful new home. Her dedication, resilience, and commitment to patient‑centered care have shaped every step of this practice’s growth.

Jennifer is not only a devoted provider — she is a daughter, sister, wife, mother, dog mom, and friend. She pours her heart into every patient she serves, and her compassion continues to define the standard of care at RVA Healthcare.

We are deeply grateful for our patients, friends, and family who have supported us throughout this journey. Your trust is the reason we are able to grow, serve, and continue providing compassionate care to our community. 💙

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at RVA Healthcare!

We are closed today, Thursday, November 27 to allow our team to enjoy the holiday with their loved ones. Regular hours will resume on Friday, November 28.

We’re grateful for our patients that have supported our practice and continue to believe in the medical care provided by NP Jennifer Hauser.

Last one we pray for a while!!!!! RVA Healthcare family is saddened by the loss of another great man and fierce supporter of Jennifer’s care! Mr. James “Jim” R***r. We are praying for peace and healing for Betsy, Jimmy Jr and LeElyn and family.

James L. R***r, 88, of Newport News, VA, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025. Born on April 29, 1937, Jim married Betsy Pope Simpson in 1958. They moved to the Peninsula following his 1959 graduation from North Carolina State University with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. While at NC....

Our RVA Healthcare family has experienced another great loss. April was one of a kind. She was so driven and focused on her goals and this a large loss for her family, friends and community.

Some may remember her from her time doing NP student rotations with RVA Healthcare a few years ago. She fought for every single accolade she received ❣️
