We support over 200 people in 49 community homes and help more than 100 children, adults, and families in their own homes and communities. Founded by parents of children with developmental disabilities, our

name means home of my heart in Gaelic. We are an amazing organization in need of volunteers, donations, and funding. 🎉 Birthday Adventures for Mike! 🎮🍔

Mike, a member of Bello Machre's Community Services, recently celebrated his birthday with a day packed full of fun! He kicked things off with a hands-on STEM digital class, enjoyed a meal at his favorite spot, and headed to the mall for arcade games and a visit to Medieval Times.

At Bello Machre, we believe that everyone deserves the chance to thrive. That’s why Ray of Hope provides up to $1,000 in funding each fiscal year to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities—no DDA eligibility required.

From therapy and adaptive equipment to summer camp and beyond, Ray of Hope helps cover the essentials when other funding falls short.

🎬 Coming Soon: Thriving Together – The Power of Inclusion 💙✨

We’re thrilled to share that Bello Machre is taking part in an exciting new documentary produced by the Community Media Center of Carroll County in collaboration with The Arc Carroll County, Target Community & Educational Services, Inc., Penn-Mar Human Services and Bello Machre.

The 60-minute film follows the journeys of four incredible individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they navigate life, work, and independence. Representing Bello Machre is Todd (a.k.a. Spike), whose passion, creativity, and drive make him the perfect person to highlight the power of inclusion.

🐺 Wolfpack with a Heart💙

Earlier this spring, students from NC State University spent a week of service with Bello Machre... and what a week it was! From sharing meals and creating art to singing their hearts out during karaoke night, these incredible students brought joy, kindness, and connection to every moment. 🎤✨

One student shared, “My biggest takeaway is that you receive just as much from service as you give, if not more.” 💬
