Dear Patients and Families,

We want to reassure you that at Young Pediatrics we continue to endorse and follow the American Academy of Pediatrics recommended immunization schedule, as we have for nearly 20 years.

In a statement released yesterday, the AAP reminded families that for decades, leading health experts, immunologists, and pediatricians have carefully reviewed new data and evidence as part of the immunization recommendation process. This long-standing, evidence-based approach continues to be the best way to protect our newborns, infants, children, and community.

The current AAP immunization schedule is based on extensive review of the best available scientific evidence regarding vaccine safety, effectiveness, and timing. Our commitment to these standards has not changed.

We care deeply about our patients and love watching them play, laugh, and grow into healthy adults. Caring for your children is both an honor and a responsibility we take seriously. If you have questions about your child’s vaccines, we’re here to help.
