“Do spinal adjustments hurt?”
The honest answer: they can.
If you’re already dealing with significant pain or inflammation, the joint is irritated before we even touch it.
So when we mobilize that area — restoring movement, removing restrictions, and decreasing inflammation — it’s normal to feel a little tenderness or soreness afterward.
But here’s the key:
The goal of an adjustment is to restore proper motion, whether it’s in your ankle, your neck, or any spinal segment.
As that joint starts to move the way it was designed to, inflammation naturally decreases, mobility improves, and long-term comfort returns.
Short-term soreness.
Long-term function.
That’s the path to real healing.
