Glen Cove Hospital

Glen Cove Hospital Glen Cove Hospital has been serving the community for almost a century. We're proud to deliver the care you deserve.

We're proud to have nationally acclaimed doctors who can deliver complex, specialized services- right in your community. Glen Cove Hospital has been serving neighboring communities with excellence and compassion for almost a century—a remarkable and proud history. Northwell Health is committed to building on that legacy by evolving to a new model of care that will ensure that the healthcare needs

of local residents continue to be met. While maintaining inpatient beds for both medical and surgical patients, along with our emergency department and intensive care unit for patients requiring critical care, Glen Cove Hospital is placing a greater emphasis on outpatient, community-based and home-based services. We have added a Clinical Decision Unit (CDU), which allows us to extend the period of observation and treatment for patients seeking emergency care. In addition to treating traditional illnesses, this unit will cater to the unique needs of our geriatric patients, who may be frail. The transformation that is occurring at Glen Cove is consistent with the transformation of healthcare delivery models occurring across the country. The existing and new clinical programs to be offered at Glen Cove and in the community will enable us to continue to care for local residents at their most critical time of need, while also managing the health and wellness of individuals in outpatient settings.
