A century of life, love, and memories celebrated in the most beautiful way 🎉🌸 Ida marked her 100th birthday at Glen Cove Center, surrounded by family, live music, abundant flowers, and heartfelt gifts. The celebration was made even more special as Mayor Pamela Panzenbeck joined the festivities, sharing warm words and presenting Ida with a citation honoring her as Glen Cove’s newest centenarian. A truly unforgettable milestone filled with joy, honor, and community pride.

This year’s Adopt a Grandparent Event brought the Glen Cove community together in the most meaningful way 🤍🎄 Local volunteers stopped by Glen Cove Center to deliver thoughtfully chosen holiday gifts for our long-term residents, spreading warmth, kindness, and connection. The day was made even sweeter with a cozy hot cocoa bar, shared smiles, and heartfelt moments that truly captured the spirit of the season and the power of community giving.

Our Adopt a Senior for the Holidays program is officially underway! Choose a resident to “adopt,” shop their wish list, and deliver a thoughtful wrapped gift. Then join us on December 22 for our Holiday Hot Cocoa Bar as we celebrate the season together.
