We took a bite out of the Big Apple at our Taste of Manhattan culinary event! 🍎🗽🚕

We enjoyed cups of deli chicken soup, corned beef sandwiches with slaw on rye, a side of Waldorf salad and for dessert, a classic black and white cookie!

To top it off, we watched the movie The Mirror Has Two Faces, a classic rom-com set in the city starring Barbra Streisand and Jeff Bridges.

We can't wait to see – and taste – the cuisine from our destination next month!

It was tea time at Atria Park of Glen Ellyn as we enjoyed a cuppa at our Afternoon Tea Social Series event.

Residents was shocked to see the amazing decorations and said that it reminds them of their time tea parties.

Dressed in our stylish springtime finery, we snacked on tea sandwiches, macarons and pastries, chatted with friends and played lawn games. A marvelous time was had by all!

We had a Wonderful time at our Life Guidance Family Social Hour. Families were able to come together, share stories and experiences as well as learn a little bit more about what we have planned for the Spring/Summer time and ask questions about the department. We even got some suggestions on their loved one’s favorite places so we can incorporate them into our Monthly Calendar!

One family member who attended stated in a follow up email “It’s very helpful to have “real” connection with you and the staff at Atria, you all are Family!!! Thank You” 🏡♥️
