During our Taste of Atria-Poland event we watched a very popular and Academy Award nominee movie “The Zookeeper’s Wife”.

It is very great movie about Poland in 1939, how the Warsaw zoo and their family was overturned when Nazis invaded their country and they had to use the cages and tunnels to save their families.

Did you know October is dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments of Polish Americans in culture, science, art and more?

Our Taste of Atria Poland 🇵🇱 event featured classic Central European flavors, including pierogies with caramelized onions, kielbasa with cucumber salad, potatoes and sauerkraut, and Serbia, traditional Polish cheesecake.
Residents and staff were dressed poland’s patriotic colors and food was delicious! 🤤
