When we learn to breathe correctly, it creates a path of the powerful essence of healing, deeper and more aligned with the Lymphatic system and our beautiful nervous system. A place where the chaos meets the calm.
Through conscious breathing—specifically WhaleBreathing—we begin to:
* Calm the nervous system (activating the parasympathetic "rest and restore" state)
* Release trapped emotional energy stored in the belly or chest
* Improve circulation and energy flow between the head, heart, and gut.
Here's a simple breath practice:
* Place one hand on your chest and one on your belly.
* As you inhale, allow yourself to meet the diaphragm. Feel how it responds to your attention, how it moves, opens, and awakens.
* Breathe in slowly through your nose.
* Let the middle of your body expand, the place where your diaphragm lives. Feel the ribs gently widen as the breath flows in.
* Exhale softly through your mouth, allowing the body to release.
Repeat for 5–7 breaths.
Feel the rhythm of the ocean within you. Allow the breath to carry you across the threshold of the diaphragm and know that it is safe to step through. Then gently ask:
• What opens?
• What softens?
• What moves through the door?
