A simple practice for respite during this often chaotic season.
“Breath of Peace”
Find a comfortable seat or lie down
Feel the support beneath you
Bring your attention to your breath and notice its natural rhythm
Let your shoulders soften
As you inhale, silently say, ‘May I be at peace’
As you exhale, ‘May all beings be at peace’
Keep returning to these words with each breath
If your mind drifts, begin again on the next inhale
Imagine Peace flowing into every cell of your body
Feel it radiating outwards with each exhale
Let your breath be the Shore you return to again and again.
