It has come to our attention that there is a bogus message potentially going out to our patients.

You may receive a phone call /voicemail from our main clinic phone number (254-897-2202) regarding “seeing your results” . In your voicemail transcription there is a link to what looks like a legitimate link to the patient portal.

Do NOT click on the link! If you click the link it could potentially hack your phone exposing your personal information.

GRMC staff along with the Somervell County FD will be in front of GRMC tomorrow Thursday December 18th 4:00 - 6:00 accepting donations for heaters and blankets!!!

All donations will go to Papa’s Pantry to distribute!

We’re launching a Blanket & Electric Heater Drive starting Monday, December 8th — and we need your help!

Electric heaters (must be new in the box)

Blankets (must be new)

Drop items in the donation box located in the Glen Rose Medical Center lobby

Or drop them off at the Somervell County Fire Station

📅 Donations Accepted Through: Monday, December 22nd

All donations will be delivered to Papa’s Pantry to support those in need this season.

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Nabil Aboukhair, MD, Board Certified in Gynecology, has joined our Glen Rose Healthcare, Inc. family!

Dr. Aboukhair brings over 35 years of experience in women’s health, with a specialized focus on gynecology and infertility. A proud 1990 graduate of Texas A&M University, he has dedicated his career to compassionate, patient-centered care. His primary practice is based in Cleburne, TX, and he has been a valued surgical provider at Glen Rose Medical Center for the past five years.

Dr. Aboukhair played a key role in the acquisition of the Da Vinci surgical robot, enhancing the capabilities of our surgery department and advancing minimally invasive care for our patients.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Aboukhair enjoys fishing, hunting, ranching, going on mission trips, and spending time with his wife, Ragida and their children: Sarah, Rachel, Michael, and John David.

Dr. Bocanegra will see patients in our Glen Rose Healthcare Clinic in Pecan Plantation. We are excited to have Dr. Bocanegra joining the clinic in Pecan Plantation, we know you will be too.

If you have wondered how you can help, Glen Rose Medical Center is organizing a drive to help our Hill Country neighbors.

We will be hosting a drive for the items requested below, July 8th-11th.

Please drop your items off at the reception desk at the hospital 8-5, after hours at the ER desk.

We are coordinating with our locals DPS and Game Wardens for delivery.

We know the need is great and will be for some time during the recovery process.

We appreciate your help as well as those in need.

Glen Rose Medical Center Specialty Clinic is happy to announce Dr. Edward Zabawski, Jr, DO, FAAD Dermatologist. Dr. Zabawski will see patients in Glen Rose the first Thursday of every month beginning July 3rd, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.. Dr. Zabawski's office is currently scheduling for July 3rd.

We are happy to have Dr. John Conrad, General Surgeon, as member our team at Glen Rose Medical Center and Glen Rose Healthcare Inc.

Dr. Conrad's journey to medicine was significantly influenced by his 10 years serving in the US Army. Being deployed to Korea and Panama provided invaluable experience in cross-cultural immersion and first hand observation of the critical role of trauma surgeons.

Dr. Conrad completed his medical degree at St. Georges University in Grenada, and surgical training at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklynn, New York. Dr. Conrad posses a broad range of surgical expertise, including laparoscopic , robotic and open procedures in areas such as general surgery, wound care, trauma, and thoracic surgery.
