“Ella’s heifer, “Kitty”, was injured at Congress in 2022. The morning of the open show we were coming in from tie outs around 4:00 AM. The asphalt was wet and due to the temperature, it was pretty slick. As we neared the barn a vehicle came flying around the curve and spooked the cattle. Kitty went down… all the way down! Once she got up it was evident that she shad uffered a pretty serious injury. We called Trent and Leslie shortly after the incident, and by 4:30 AM they had the MagnaWave on Kitty. Later that day, our vet confirmed how serious her injuries were and was very guarded about Kitty making a full recovery. It was clear that Kitty may not ever see another showring, and if she did, it was going to be way on down the road. Collectively, we made a commitment and formulated a plan to get Kitty well. Leslie was conservative in her treatments but aggressive with her plan. Leslie performed a combination of Chiropractic and MagnaWave treatments. The process was one with many peaks and valleys… two steps forward one step back. Leslie truly cared about Kitty’s progress and could not have been more invested in her recovery. Because of Leslie’s commitment and diligence, Ella was able to show Kitty at the JNHE only six months after her injury and was selected as the Division XI Champion!
After Jr. Nationals, we took a long break from the show road, and while Kitty’s treatments with Leslie were not as frequent, Leslie continued to work with her. By the time Congress 2023 came around, Kitty was fully healed and did not require treatments. She was sure footed, and her movement was good. However, as we all know, what separates a really good one from a great one is fractional differences. For Kitty, Leslie’s MagnaWave treatment was the fractional difference that took her movement from really good to great! The culmination of fractions and everyone’s commitment to her recovery paid off. Kitty was selected as the Grand Champion Polled Hereford Female at the 2023 Cattlemen’s Congress… what an honor and humbling experience!
Everyone who plays this sport knows it takes a lot of people with many different talents to be successful. Our family is grateful to many for Ella and Kitty’s success, and, in all sincerity, we couldn’t be more grateful to anyone than we are to Leslie. Undoubtedly, Kitty would have never shown again had it not been for Leslie. We wholeheartedly believe in R&R Animal Therapy. Thank you, Trent and Leslie – you guys are amazing!”
