Learn Parenting skills. Orientation and support. Infant and child development screenings. Referrals to community resources. Doula Program: A Doula is a woman trained and expe
rienced in childbirth who provides continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to pregnant women during labor, birth, and the immediate postpartum period. A Doula performs no clinical tasks. She uses massages, aromatherapy and positions to facilitate a normal delivery. Psychotherapy: Services provided by a Masters of Social work graduate, under the supervision of a license clinical social worker. Receive free counseling services when enrolled in our doula or home visiting programs. Learn healthy coping skills, communication with a partner and emotional support as a new parent and more. Child Welfare Service (CWS): This program receives referrals only from the DCFS hotline. CWS connects families to community services such as therapy, school activities, medical appointments etc. This is a voluntary 30 program. A case manager and family enhancement worker will work with you and your family to connect with other organizations to improve your life.
