Trail Blazer Club is becoming more and more competitive! Our residents enjoy seeing their progress displayed on the board, which motivates them to stay active and challenge themselves. Friendly competition has sparked excitement, with residents eager to increase their steps and try to outpace one another. This has been a great way to keep everyone engaged, motivated, and moving.

I tell you what — what a great way to start 2026! 💪🎉 Our exercise class has expanded with even more participation, and it’s been amazing to see so many residents joining in.

Our Powerback team led the class and made sure everyone could participate at their own level, creating an inclusive, motivating, and fun workout for all. Way to kick off the new year strong!

Our Engagement Team was busy prepping for our New Year’s Eve Party! From mini hot dogs and homemade spinach & artichoke dip with bread and crackers, to cookies and sparkling juice to wash it all down—there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Zach played tunes that had our residents singing along, and families joined in on the fun, filling the room with music, laughter, and joy. It was a wonderful way to ring in the New Year together. Iliana dance with residents while other residents were singing karaoke songs.

Happy New Year to everyone! 🎉 We can’t wait to see what 2026 brings for our Silverado North Shore Community.

Having Senator Dora Drake Visit Our Silverado Community

We sincerely thank Senator Dora Drake for visiting our Silverado community and for the thoughtful conversation focused on assisted living and memory care communities. It was an honor to host her at Silverado North Shore and to share the exceptional care and services our dedicated team delivers to residents each day.

We also appreciate Michael Pochowski, President and CEO of the Wisconsin Assisted Living Association, for leading the discussion and helping advance important conversations around assisted living in Wisconsin.

We are grateful for the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and advocate for the residents and families we serve.

Residents at Silverado
Some of our ladies at Silverado felt deeply passionate about giving back and wanted to visit a shelter to donate gifts. Together, we searched for a place that was close to their hearts and found Friendship House, a domestic violence shelter.

Our residents had the opportunity to speak with the staff in charge, donate gifts and clothing, and ask thoughtful questions about how they could continue to help. The conversation was meaningful and inspiring, and our ladies were eager to learn more about the shelter’s needs.

We will be completing the necessary forms and look forward to returning to assist in any way we can. It was a truly heartfelt experience

Christmas Party for Our Staff
To show our appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the amazing staff who make our community so special, we hosted our Staff Christmas Party—and it was a blast!

The night included a live DJ, fun games, awesome prizes, and plenty of food and drinks. Our staff truly got into the spirit, becoming very competitive as prizes were awarded to the winners! There was so much laughter, and it was wonderful to see our associates feel comfortable being themselves and enjoying the moment together.

You know a party was a success when cotton balls, gift wrap, glitter, balloon and bows are scattered all over the floor—LOL!

Thank you to all of our associates for everything you do each day to care for and support our residents. We are truly grateful for each and every one of you.

Christmas Party for Our Community
What a beautiful skyline we enjoyed during our Christmas party this evening. Our Jingle & Mingle was truly an event to remember! We were thrilled to welcome so many families who joined us for this festive celebration.

Loved ones spent meaningful time together as the atmosphere came alive with joyful holiday music. We were delighted to have live performances by Fred and Ginney, as well as Rick and Dave, who created a lively and festive ambiance throughout the evening.

Our culinary team showcased their incredible talents—and wow, did they do an amazing job! The night was filled with laughter, countless smiles, families connecting, and a genuine sense of joy.

We are so grateful to our residents, families, staff, and performers who made this evening so special—memories like these are what make our Silverado community truly feel like home.

Spirit Week is in full swing! 🎉
So far we’ve had Fun Funky Socks Day, Pajama Day, and today was Ugly Sweater Day—and our staff truly showed up and kept it festive!
A hot chocolate bar helped boost energy, and some cool gifts added extra cheer.
