Pain may be caused by weakness, tightness, or a muscular imbalance. Sometimes pain is caused by a combination of all three. These elements cause inefficiencies within your workout, even if pain never occurs.

Here are 5 signs you may need physical therapy:
1. You have no idea why something hurts.
2. Pain persists longer than three days following a workout.
3. The same body part is injured twice over a few week time period.
4. The pain travels (i.e. lower back pain moves down your leg).
5. You swear you are doing everything right, but changes are just not occurring.

We were proud to be the presenting sponsor for the 2025 Annual Hotshots 19 Memorial Workout and Fundraiser on August 23 at Captain Crossfit in Prescott, AZ.

This event is dedicated to honoring our 19 brave firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty while further supporting fire education. Proceeds from the event benefit the Hotshots Scholarship Fund and Arizona Wildfire and Incident Management Academy.

For the past 12 years, Captain Crossfit has welcomed local, state, and national supporters to their box for a day of remembrance, fitness and fundraising.

Our team stayed busy keeping athletes loose and ready for the big WOD with pre-event stretching and mobility work — and even found time to jump in on a workout themselves!

We’re proud to honor the Hotshots and support our community through fitness, recovery, and remembrance.
