REASONS WHY SOME LIPS ARE MORE PLUMP THAN OTHERS AFTER LIP FILLER:


-Not all lips are created equally so each lip is unique almost like your fingerprint…no one lip is exactly the same so your lips will never look like your friends lips or your favorite celebrity. When my clients bring in pictures of what they want their lips to look like, I don’t mind looking at it but your lips will never look like the picture.

-DRINK LOTS OF WATER. Fillers work by forcing moisture into the lips thus keeping your lips more plump! Proper hydration will give your lips the best chance at looking plump!

-USE A HIGH QUALITY LIP MOISTURIZER! We recommend using a lip balm that does not contain ingredients that will only make your lips more dry once it is absorbed. I recommend our Mizzi Lip Luxe collection specifically designed for filler aftercare!

-DO NOT PLAY OR MASSAGE YOUR LIPS UNLESS INSTRUCTED BY YOUR INJECTOR. I prefer you leave your lips alone for 2 weeks after filler placement to allow for proper settling of your filler.

-DO NOT USE A STRAW, V**E PEN, or CI******ES for at least 2 weeks after your lip filler to allow the filler to settle properly.

*These tips will allow your lips to continue to look great after filler and remember just because you can’t feel the filler doesn’t mean it is completely gone. As a matter of fact we are finding that most dermal fillers have the ability to hang around for up to 1-2 years in some cases.
