Developmental Enrichment Centers Providing center-based life skills training and in home care services for children and adults with developmental disabilities.

The inspiration behind the founding of DEC came from David, son of Nancy and Sky Younger. As co-founders, Nancy and Sky sought to establish a faith based organization that would provide loving, quality care and services to special needs children and adults such as their son. Today, in honor of David’s memory, DEC continues to grow and expand their services through our summer and after school train

ing programs for school age children, and adult day program. DEC also provides home based services such as Habilitation and Attendant Care, and hourly respite care to provide relief to the primary care giver.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage, dedication, and selflessness will never be forgotten. As we enjoy this day with family and friends, let us take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day. It’s a time to express our deepest gratitude to those who gave their lives so we could enjoy the freedoms we have today. We would like to say thank you to our fallen heroes and their families. Your sacrifice is forever etched in our hearts.

Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs SIGNED House Bill 2945 to secure funding that supports Arizonans with intellectual developmental disabilities through the end of June.

There is still work to be done to secure funding beyond the fiscal year, but we applaud Hobbs and the Arizona Legislature for their efforts in getting this over the finish line.

Additionally, we thank all of those who spent the time to advocate on this issue!
