Mantras give your mind something steady to hold onto when everything feels out of control. Here’s a few calming words that can slow the spiral and bring you back to the present.🧘‍♀️🌀

“I am safe in this moment.”
– Reminds you that the danger is in your thoughts, not your surroundings.

“These are just thoughts, not facts.”
– Helps separate yourself from the mental storm.

“I’ve felt this before, and I made it through.”
– Validates your strength and resilience.

“One breath at a time. One moment at a time.”
– Brings your focus to the present.

Remember, you're not alone! You got this!

🌟 What’s the Difference Between Real and Not-So-Real Fears?

We all feel scared sometimes—and that’s okay! But did you know there are two kinds of fears?
🛑 Real (Rational) Fears
These are fears that make sense because they help keep us safe.
👉 Example: Feeling scared when crossing a busy street without an adult. That’s your brain helping you stay careful!
😨 Not-So-Real (Irrational) Fears
These are fears that feel big, even if there’s not really any danger.
👉 Example: Being super scared of a balloon popping or a tiny bug that can’t hurt you.
🧠 Your Brain Means Well!
Sometimes, your brain just gets a little too protective. It’s like a fire alarm going off when there’s no fire—loud, scary, but not actually dangerous.
💬 Tip: When you're scared, ask yourself: “Is this something that can really hurt me, or is my brain just trying to keep me extra safe?”

When fear takes over, pause and ground yourself. Try the 5-4-3-2-1 technique: 🌿
-5 things you can see – Look around and name them.
-4 things you can touch – Feel the texture, temperature, or pressure.
-3 things you can hear – Tune into nearby or distant sounds.
-2 things you can smell – Take a deep breath and notice any scents.
-1 thing you can taste – Even just noticing the taste in your mouth helps.

This simple exercise brings you back to the present moment—where you're safe, here, and in control.
