We are thrilled to share the wonderful news that the Glendale Memorial Health Foundation's Annual Charity Golf Classic, held on Friday, April 11, 2025, was a resounding success! Thanks to the incredible generosity and enthusiasm of our community, we successfully raised $155,000.

Over 150 participants enjoyed a day of golf, and we sincerely thank everyone who participated, sponsored, and contributed. Your support is deeply appreciated. Hospital President Betsy Hart noted that this year's tournament was the most successful to date.

We're pleased to share that 100% of the proceeds will go towards purchasing a 4K resolution C-arm for Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center. This crucial piece of equipment is used to guide surgeons during complex procedures and will provide them with the latest technology, offering enhanced visibility and sharpness for an improved patient experience.

Thank you again for your commitment. We will keep you updated on how these funds will enhance our facilities and services.

We’re excited to announce that Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center is the first hospital in Southern California to introduce the Hydros Robot, the next-generation AI-powered platform for Aquablation! This state-of-the-art technology uses waterjet precision for a minimally invasive and highly effective treatment for prostate conditions. A huge thank you to Dr. Kamyar Ebrahimi for leading the way in this groundbreaking procedure, keeping us at the forefront of medical advancements in our community and helping set new standards in innovative care!

Holiday Board-Hosted Salon Event

On Tuesday, December 10th, Glendale Memorial Health Foundation had their holiday salon event hosted by board member and physician, Dr. David Rogers. The hosted event was held at his beautiful home in the hills atop Burbank with an amazing city skyline view!

Guests were treated to a brief presentation by Dr. William Wang, Chief Medical Officer of CommonSpirit’s Southern California Market and Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center. Dr. Wang discussed the robust healthcare professions internship program at Glendale Memorial and the impact it is making for our community.

Our host Dr. Rogers with his friend and colleague Dr. Ara Antaranyan provided a glimpse into the amazing work being done in Armenia through medical missions. Dr. Antaranyan, who is a visiting physician from the Wigmore Clinic in Armenia, shared insights on the collaborative international medical missions and the impact our own Glendale physicians have through their participation.

Salon events are where board members, hospital executives and physicians can socialize and network with donors and community members as they learn more about the hospital and how they can get involved.

Thank you to Dr. Rogers for his dedicated involvement on the foundation board and opening his home for a beautiful evening full of music, food and fun!
