removing, cleaning, and re-taping your hair system
Removing the System
1. Using 99% rubbing alcohol, a paper towel or sponge. Gentle remove the system from your head by spraying the product under the tape and using the paper towel or sponge to lift and loosen the tape from the skin and lift the hair system off your head. You can do this in small section at a time until the system come off completely. Continue to spray the alcohol through the hair around the area where the tape is on your system. This will help loosen the tape from the system. Gently with a paper towel separate the tape from the system and peal the tape off from the hair system. If hair is coming through the hair system, then more alcohol is need spray it directly on the area you’re trying to lift the tape.
Cleaning the system
2. After removing the tape spray Rapid Release around the area of the lace where the tape was and let it sit in a bowl or in the sink for about 15 minutes. Then just use a paper towel and wipe away any sticky tape residue. Sometime this process has to be repeated to get all the sticky tape residue off. After you remove the residue now it is time to wash the system. In a bowl or bucket using warm water squeeze a little bit of dawn dishwashing liquid swish around the soap water and then tape your hair system and wash it in the down and warm water. Rinse and repeat this until all the rapid release is wash out from the hair system. Then was the system with shampoo and conditioner and towel dry the system and place the system hair facing down lace up on your manikin head. Spray the base with extra hold hair spray and leave it to dry.
Cleaning your scalp
3. While your hair system is drying take the C22 and spray it into your hand and rub it on the top of your head. Then take a paper towel wipe off your scalp. Then take 99% rubbing alcohol and wipe off all the C22. If you still fill sticky spots, Repeat the C22 and alcohol until all tape residue is removed from your scalp and you no longer feel sticky spot. At this time, you can take a shower and clean your head with regular shampoo or exfoliating cleaners of your choice.
Re-taping your Hair System
4. Your system should be clean and ready to go. Lace should be completely dry and sprayed with extra hold hair spray Using NO SHINE Walker tape. Remove the clear white tab from the tape and place the tape as close to the edge of the lace as possible. The writing side of the tape should be facing up. Press the tape into the lace. The tape should stick to the lace, and you peal it back and off the base of the system. Place the tape around the entire perimeter of the system using the proper shape and cut the tape where needed.

5. I know this part is difficult and you might need some assistance. Shave off any hair that has grown back in the balding area of the head where the tape hair system will be placed. Using 99% alcohol wipe off the top of your head. Using Scalp Protect spray on the top of your head and using a paper towel to spread it even over your balding area where the system will be place. Lay the system down starting in the front and keeping it pulled tight to the side as your laying it flat to your scalp.
