Flowering Earth School

Abalone Herbals is an apothecary and school of botanical medicine created by herbalist Irena Cora Stathis. Our body care products, herbal medicines and elixirs are infused with a deep love of the plants. Irena facilitates a variety of classes and workshops on Herbalism throughout Southern California and is also available for one-on-one herbal and holistic health consultations. Through her work she

seeks to inspire in others an openness to cultivating a healing relationship with the plant spirits. Irena Cora Stathis is an Herbalist and Educator specializing in self-care, natural beauty, herbal foods and preventative wellness. She handcrafts botanical beauty products, hydrosols, herbal teas, extracts, essences, and balms from the plants in her garden and those that she carefully tends in the wild. She teaches workshops on the Art and Craft of Herbalism at the Los Angeles County Arboretum in Arcadia and will be offering new classes online this Fall as well as some limited attendance, outdoor plant explorations. Last year, she founded the Flowering Earth School of Herbalism with a 10-month Immersion, a hands-on, experiential-based program which explores the many pathways of healing with plant medicines via our own personal connection to the plants and the Earth.
